This book is exactly as described -- a recipe and storybook portraying the resilience of Australian farmers. A well-produced book with wonderful recipes, stories, and photos. I bought it as a gift but am enjoying reading it myself!

The day my copy of ‘There is a Story in every Meal ‘ arrived I opened it when I had a spare minute for a quick glance!
Well, I was riveted, and sat and read the story ahead of each section of recipes.
I’m from a farming family and an reasonably well informed of the challenges of those on the land. However, Julia’s insights gave me a whole new understanding.
Oh! And I love the sound of the recipes & look forward to trying some.
I have been a devotee of Tweed Real Food products for some time and can’t imagine cooking without them.

I purchased the books for Xmas presents for my husband and daughter and both love the stories and recipes. Fantastic produce , avocado smash is the best.

This is a great recipe book and an excellent read.

We love the Lime & Pepper grinder salt on fish. My husband cooked the fish on the BBQ for Christmas. It was a hit! He also used the Viva Italia rub on some chicken pieces in the oven. Yum!

This cookbook is well worth the read. The story behind the business was really interesting and the recipes look really tasty. Can’t wait to try some out.
