Camembert Turkey Meatballs with Raspberry Glaze
- 500 grams turkey mince
- 1 small camembert wheel
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- ½ onion grated
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 1 egg
- Salt to taste
- Optional; a handful of mint leaves for garnish
Cut the Camembert into marble-sized cubes and place in freezer while doing the next steps.
Mix the remaining ingredients together, until just combined.
Roll mixture into small balls.
Place the camembert in the middle, enclosing with meat.
Bake on an iron griddle or fry pan pad until golden brown and cooked through, about 15 minutes, turning throughout to ensure even browning.
Combine all ingredients together in small sauce pan over medium high heat.
Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer about five minutes.
Coat meatballs in sauce and serve. Garnish with torn mint leaves if desired.
