Fish is a healthy and delicious addition to any meal, but it can be difficult to know how to choose the best quality fish. When buying whiting, look for fillets that are firm and brightly coloured. The flesh should be free of any brown patches or dark spots. If you are buying whole fish, make sure that the eyes are clear and the gills are red. When it comes to cooking, whiting is a versatile fish that can be fried, baked, or grilled. A quick fry in butter is all it takes to bring out the delicate flavour of this delicious fish. Whether you enjoy whiting on its own or with a side of rice or potatoes, it is sure to be a hit at your next meal.2
