Strawberry Jam is the perfect way to preserve those summer strawberries! Here's our super simple recipes that compliments your morning breakfasts and even those late night cheeky desserts perfectly.
500g strawberries, hulled and sliced
300g granulated sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 cup of black chia seeds
In a saucepan over medium heat, add the sugar and vinegar and bring to the boil. Cook till the sugar is dissolved.
Add the strawberries and cinnamon sticks to the sugar mixture, bring to the boil, then reduce and let simmer for 20 minutes. Then remove cinnamon sticks.
Stir chia seeds into jam and pour into an airtight container or sterilised jars. Place in fridge overnight.
