Tweed Real Food
500g firm white fish fillets (such as cod or haddock), cut into strips
2 Tsp Tweed Real Food Chicken And Chips Salt
1 Tsp dried basil
Tweed Real Food Lime Pepper Grinder Salt (For Taste)
In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, Chicken And Chips Salt, dried basil and Lime Pepper Grinder Salt.
In another shallow dish, beat the eggs.
In a third shallow dish, place the breadcrumbs.
Dip each fish strip first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally into the breadcrumbs, making sure to coat well.
Heat a deep frying pan with enough oil to cover the fish fingers. The oil should be hot enough so that when you drop a breadcrumb in, it sizzles.
Fry the fish fingers in batches until they are golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove the fish fingers from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Serve the fish fingers hot with your favourite dipping sauce.
