Ingredients

500g High quality beef mince
1 brown onion, finely chopped
2 Tsp Tweed Real Food Garlic Rosemary Rub
1 Tbsp tomato paste
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Tsp Tweed Real Food Lime Pepper Grinder Salt
1/4 Tsp black pepper
2 sheets shortcrust pastry, thawed
2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
1 egg, beaten
Tomato sauce (ketchup), to serve

Directions

Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
In a large frying pan, cook the beef mince, onion, and Garlic Rosemary Rub over medium-high heat until the beef is browned and the onion is soft.
Stir in the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, Lime Pepper Grinder Salt, and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.
Cut the shortcrust pastry and puff pastry sheets into rounds using a 9cm (3.5 inch) pastry cutter. You should get around 12 rounds of each.
Place the shortcrust pastry rounds into the prepared baking tray and spoon a tablespoon of the beef mixture into each round.
Place a puff pastry round on top of each beef-filled round and press the edges together to seal.
Brush the tops of the pies with beaten egg and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve the Party Pies hot with tomato sauce (ketchup) on the side.
