We have to admit it, there's just something about fried food that hits the spot, the crunch and the crisp followed by the yumminess of whatever has been fried.
These moorish crumbed mushrooms are not the every day snack but trust us they will be worth your while!
Crumbed Stroganoff Mushrooms

Ingredients
2 cups breadcrumbs (ideally fresh - simply toast your favourite bread and blend it up!)

1 Tbsp Tweed Real Food Simply Stroganoff Seasoning - Limited Edition
3 cups button mushrooms, wiped clean (not rinsed)
3+ Tbsp all-purpose plain flour
Small bowl of water
2 eggs, beaten
High smoke point oil for frying, we use Rice Bran Oil
Directions
Combine the breadcrumbs and Simply Storganoff Seasoning
Wipe the Mushrooms clean
Make 4 separate bowls for the water, flour, egg and breadcrumb mix
Dip each mushroom in water, then dust in flour, coat in egg and crumb in breadcrumbs.
Place on baking paper lined dish and refridgerate for 10 minutes.
Heat oil 2cm deep in a pan suitable for frying, and fry each mushroom for approximately 3 - 4 minutes or until golden brown.
Place on a paper towel to rest and enjoy!
