Spiced Hommus
INGREDIENTS
- 1 400g can chickpeas
- 60 mls extra virgin olive oil
- Juice of one large lemon
- 1/4 cup of tahini
- 2 Tbsp Tweed Real Food Avo Smash Dukkah
- Handful of roughly chopped continental flat-leaf parsley
- A handful of pine nuts
METHOD
Over medium heat in a fry pan toast pine nuts until browned, set aside to cool.
Combine ingredients (excluding pine nuts & Avo Smash Dukkah) in food processor.
If consistency is too thick, add up to 3 Tbsp of water, one at a time, until desired consistency.
Once combined mix through Avo Smash Dukkah, sprinkling some on top and garnishing with parsley and with pine nuts.
