Roasted Balsamic Strawberries on fruit toast.
INGREDIENTS
500g strawberries, hulled and halved
40g unsalted butter
1tbsp Tweed Real Food Bourbon Maple Splash
4 slices quality fruit bread/brioche
1-2tsp Tweed Real Food Lime Pepper Grinder Salt (ground)
Greek Yoghurt/Whipped Cream/Ice Cream to serve.
METHOD
Melt butter in pan over medium heat.
Add strawberries, Bourbon Maple Splash Balsamic and ½ of Lime Pepper.
Heat till strawberries have softened slightly.
While strawberries are cooking, toast or grill fruit bread.
Serve strawberries including juices on top of bread with a side of yoghurt or cream. Top with some more Lime Pepper.
