Tweed Real Food
700mls red wine
500mls sparkling apple cider
1 cup of water
2 oranges, peeled, halved and then thinly sliced
4 star anise
2 cinnamon sticks
6 cardamom pods, bruised/crushed
6 cloves
You may like to have additional spices and orange slices for decorating the glass.
1 Tbsp (per glass) Tweed Real Food Wild Raspberry Splash Balsamic Vinegar - Limited Edition
Pour red wine, apple cider, water and spices into a large pot and heat on low-medium heat.
Add the orange peel and orange slices.
Heat slowly for a minimum of 30 minutes so the flavours infuse the wine mix.
Once very warm, add the Wild Raspberry Splash Balsamic Vinegar and stir.
Keep the pot on a very low heat for the duration of enjoying the wine.
**Avoid any boiling, not even a light simmer, as this will reduce the liquid and remove the alcohol from the wine.
Serve into glasses or mugs and decorate to your hearts delight.
