Homemade Seasoned Roast Chicken

INGREDIENTS

whole chicken (approx. 2kg)
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Tbsp fresh Orange Juice
1 Tbsp Tweed Real Food Chicken and Chips Salt

METHOD
Bring chicken up to room temperature.

Mix Olive Oil, Orange Juice and Chicken and Chips Salt, use mixture to rub the chicken inside and out.

Preheat oven to 200°C.

Place chicken in a roasting tray, breast side up. Tuck under wings; tie together drumsticks. Roast for approximately 45-60min or until the chicken is cooked.

  • Remove from oven and let stand for 15 minutes before carving.

    Tip: Cover loosely with foil if chickens brown too quickly.
