Caramelised Strawberry Chia Jam
- 500g strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 300g granulated sugar
- 60ml Tweed Real Food Classic Caramelised Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 cup of black chia seeds
In a saucepan over medium heat, add the sugar and vinegar and bring to the boil. Cook till the sugar is dissolved.
Add the strawberries and cinnamon sticks to the sugar mixture, bring to the boil, then reduce and let simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove cinnamon sticks.
Stir chia seeds into jam and pour into an airtight container or sterilised jars.
Place in fridge overnight.
